Isaac Moncada - Spanish Pastor

Pastor Isaac Moncada was born in Contamana, province of Ucayali, State of Loreto, region of jungle of Peru. He was born in a evangelical home; they were 12 brothers. He married with Olga Lukashevich, and they had 4 children, Jean Claude, Gina Valeria, Yuri Mark and Gisela Isabel. Jean studied Administration, and now he works for a American business in Maryland; Gina Valeria, studied Business Administration and he works in that area in a business in Lima city; Yuri Mark, has studies of International Business and works in a business of logistic assistance in Lima; Gisela Isabel is journalist, and she works in the business of his husband in Lima. All they are married and work in Peru. The pastor has 4 grandchildren, all they are boys, Hector Alonso, Alvaro Alberto, Claudio Sebastian and Renato. After 18 years of married, pastor’s wife dead. After 5 years to be widow and a year of graduate of the seminary, he married again with Ana Senas, who already had a daughter, Tatiana. Tatiana lives with her parents and studies Business Administration at Baltimore City Community College.

Pastor Moncada met Jesus Christ at young age, he baptized when he was 15 years old. However, the Lord touched firmly his hearth after many years and called him to His ministry.

Pastor Moncada, worked as teacher for 23 years, as teacher in a classroom, the administrative area and as principal of a high school. After his mother died, he felt the God’ calling to be a pastor. He went to the Seminario Evangélico de Lima, and  graduated as Bachelor in Theology with honors. After that period he came back to the university to complete a Master in Education. The University of the Rockies” of Denver, Colorado granted the degree of Doctor of Divinity, Honoris Causa. 

He began his pastoral race before to go to the seminary. In 1988 worked as a interim pastor of the “El Redentor” Baptist church around of Lima city. He established the “Dios es Luz” Baptist church and “Jesucristo es el Señor” Baptist church. After, was called to be a senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Lima. He came back to work in a mission in Lima City. Also, he worked as a Vice President of the Evangelical Baptist Convention of Peru, and as a president of the pastoral promontory of the Baptist Association of Lima. He was a member of the Directive Board of the Evangelical National Council of Peru. He arrived to the United States in 2006 with his wife Ana y his daughter Tatiana to work in a Hispanic Mission in the Middle River Baptist Church of Baltimore. 

In his free time he likes to be with his family, read, playing soccer, and prepare the sermon for the Sunday preaching. Also he likes of teaching the Bible to a new and old Christians. He likes play guitar in the church.

Pastor Moncada works as a missionary for the Hispanic people from the Middle River Baptist Church of Middle River. There he is planting a church and expand his ministry to the Armistead Garden and Fallston areas. Pastor Moncada wish to see a church which expand, the people be baptized and obey the Lord Jesus, and the kingdom runs, meanwhile we have life, health and opportunity.

Se casó con Olga Lukashevich y tuvieron 4 hijos, Jean Claude, Gina Valeria, Yuri Mark y Gisela Isabel. Jean estudió Administracion y ahora trabaja para una empresa Americana en Maryland; Gina Valeria, studió Business Administration y trabaja en esa area en una empresa en Lima; Yuri Mark, tiene estudios de International Business y trabaja en una empresa de asistencia logística en Lima; Gisela Isabel es periodista y trabaja en la empresa de su esposo en Lima. Todos ellos ahora estan casados y trabajan en Peru. Tiene cuatro nietos, todos ellos varones, Hector Alonso, Alvaro Alberto, Claudio Sebastian y Renato. La esposa del Ps Moncada falleció después de 18 años de matrimonio. Después de 5 años de viudez y al año siguiente de graduarse en el seminario, se casó nuevamente con Ana Senas quien ya tenía una hija, Tatiana. Tatiana ahora vive con sus padres en los Estados Unidos y estudia Business Administration en el BCCC.

El Ps Moncada conoció al Señor desde muy joven, y se bautizó a los 15 años. Pero el Señor tocó fuertemente su corazón después de muchos años y le llamó al ministerio pastoral.
Pastor Moncada, trabajó como profesor por 23 años, siendo profesor de aula, administrativo, y director de una colegio de secundaria.  Después del fallecimiento de su mamá, Beatriz, sintió el llamado del Señor al pastorado. Ingresó al Seminario Evangélico de Lima y se graduó como Bachiller en Teología con honores. Posteriormente regresó a la universidad hasta culminar sus estudios de Maestría en Educación. La universdad of the Rockies” of Denver, Colorado le otorgó el grado de Doctor of Divinity, Honoris Causa. 

ANTES DE VENIR
Inició su carrera pastoral antes de ir al seminario. En 1988 trabajó como pastor interino en la iglesia “El Redentor” en las afueras de Lima. Fundó la Iglesia bautista “Dios es Luz” e Iglesia Bautista “Jesucristo es el Señor”. Posteriormente fue llamado a ejercer el pastorado como pastor principal de la Primera Iglesia Evangélica Bautista de Lima. Volvió a trabajar en una nueva misión en el centro de Lima. También se desempeñó como Vice Presidente de la Convención Evangélica Bautista del Peru, Presidente de la promotoría pastoral de la Asociación Bautista de Lima. Fue miembro de la junta directiva del Concilio Nacional Evangélico del Peru. Llegó a los Estados Unidos en el 2006 con su esposa Ana y su hija Tatiana para trabajar en una misión hispana  en la iglesia Middle River Baptist Church de Baltimore. 

TIEMPO LIBRE
En su tiempo libre le encanta estar con su familia, leer, jugar futbol, y preparar su sermón para cada Domingo. También, disfruta enseñando la Biblia a los nuevos y antiguos creyentes. Le gusta cantar y tocar guitarra en la iglesia.

EN LOS USA
El Ps Moncada trabaja como misionero para el pueblo hispano desde la iglesia MRBCH de Middle River. Allí está levantando una iglesia, y al mismo tiempo se está expandiendo a las áreas de Armistead Garden y Fallston. El pastor desea ver una iglesia que se multiplique, que los miembros se bauticen y obedezcan al Señor, y que el reino de Dios se extienda mientras tengamos la vida, la salud y la oportunidad.
