COOKIE BAKE

Saturday, November 15th

4:00pm - 9:00pm

We will have dough ready to make sugar and peanut butter cookies

If you have a favorite cookie recipe- bring it in early so we can get the ingredients to make them

After we make the cookies, and of course sample a few, we will make delivery runs to distribute them to MRBC's homebound

WHAT MESSAGE DID WE BRING HOME FROM THE STUDENT LIFE CONFERENCE:

My life has changed by moving my life closer to Jesus...I was able to sing and I always never sing but it touched me to sing...---Dakota

The conference brought me closer to God. I never really got it in church but now I understand. I want to make God 's name famous because I was created by God for God...---Tyler

I felt it deep when Lou said make Jesus famous though my life. That touched me deep...those things moved something in me and I really thought about those things. I think those words are changing me slowly but surely...---Mark

I've always felt like God was calling me to bigger things in the world for His glory. This conference confirmed and reinforced this for me and I am sure that God used it as a tool to remind me of this.... ---Rebecca

The story of Ashley's salvation... reopened my eyes and that night I  really started praying hard for my co-workers. ---Rob

What we experienced at this conference was genuine worship and for some that was probably a first. for many people this was the first time they "got it". They truley got who God is and what he did for them....---Kevin

...what I got most out of the trip was a close friendship with more of the youth. What doesn't help bond more than singing praise to God arm-in-arm with someone...---Danielle

I have been on 5 trips and each has been special in  it's own unique way. Daytona Beach has taught me I was made by God for God...---Daryl

Several things I was reminded of this week...We are made by God, for God and following "the Way" begins wiht a decision to follow Jesus and is a continuous action, ...---Bob

At times of my life I questioned why does God care about me...Lou said we are made by God and for God. When he said that, that is all I needed to hear. I traveled a 1000+ miles just to have someone clarify the purpose of my life and it only took 7 words....---Anthony
