Our Vision

It shall be the objective of this Church to promote the cause of Jesus Christ, win to Him nonbelievers, and to seek the development of its members in Christian living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

We shall seek to be an inclusive fellowship that aggressively reaches out to those who do not know Jesus Christ, to consistently disciple those who do, to compassionately care for those who are hurting, and to make this congregation of believers an effective evangelistic voice in our area.

Being a member of Middle River Baptist Church means that we exist to: (1) Worship God, (2) Proclaim Christ, (3) Teach His Word, (4) Live His Love, and (5) Actively minister to others by giving of our time, talents, and our resources.

Our Beliefs

The word of God as recorded in the Bible shall be the sole source of doctrine, guide for conduct, and for worship.  A description of beliefs held by many Baptists can be found in “The Baptist Faith and Message.”
